science baby quilt

I work in health physics, a co-worker had a baby last year and I made them a baby quilt, the history of science.
Many of the designs came from theflossbox.com.
It will be a couple of postings.
Please remember this is the first quilt I acutally quilted. It's not bad, but it is unique. It actually won 3rd place as an art quilt at the county fair last year.

I thougth that if the child was exposed from the cradle maybe science wouldn't be so intimadating when she got older.

That is so cool!! I think you've got a great idea there...exposing children to science at a young age does make it seem more familiar and less intimidating. You can tell you put a TON of work into that!! Well done! I love it!
