Awesome quilt!!! I think it is wonderful to recycle fabric and keep it out of landfills and such. Yayyyyyy you for maintaining the tradition of using what is at hand in your quilts. It is a timeless part of quilting to recycle clothing into our quilts.

So adorable! I think the bone patch is perfect. I have been saving shirts and I have yet to find a pattern I want to use them in.

Adorable quilt, just darling. Found out the hard way you have to be careful when reusing fabric. I bought some old sheets at a farm sale for cheap thinking they could be used for backings. Turns out the fabric was so thin and worn, it was "splitty" when I used it. The non-middle parts worked ok though for wallhangings and FMQ sandwiches.

Does Doggie want a bone? They might have to fight over it! Too cute. I love it. I also had a Scottie many years ago named MacGregor. He lived for 14 years and was a lot of fun.

I like your idea of the bone patch, it adds to the quilt very nicely.
