    Scouting Wallhanging for my DGS

My grandson became an Eagle Scout this year and my DD asked if I could make him a Wallhanging to commerate this wonderful occasion. Of course I said yes. I had never made a Wallhanging before and couldn't fine a pattern to follow, so I bought some material on line and got out some paper to try to come up with a pattern. This is the end result. I found a picture of an eagle online and copied it, then appliqued it. The center of the Wallhanging will hold all his badges he earned. I didn't put them on yet as he has to have them on his uniform and sash. I will do that later. For not having a clue to how to do it, I am pleased with the result. Hope you like it and Thanks for looking

what a great show of scouting.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

What a wonderful gift for him!!! Eagle Scout is a lot of work and a real honor for the boys. Two of my sons are Eagles Scouts, too. It opens a lot of doors for them the rest of their lives. It looks really good on a resume, too.

That's a great way to celebrate a great honour. I was a guide (Girl Scout) here and got the top award. I still have my uniform with all the badges on, but would love to make one of these instead.

Great job on incorporating all his camps, achievements and the Boy Scout mission. Congratulations to him for his accomplishments, and to you, for memorializing his journey. He will treasure it forever.
