Default scrap busting...

In between cleaning, gardening, and playing with the kitties...I was able to get through 2 bag of scraps, donated some that I thought were too thin, the rest cut them up and 4 rows sewn and put together. I now have a smal dish of 2 inch squares ready to go. I was going to spend the day sewing since the weatherman said rain all day. It ended up being a beautiful day. I am hoping to sew one row each night. I only have 20 rows more to go. Who else is scrap busting this week?

What a great beginning of a quilt. Congrats on getting some of the scraps used up. I should be doing that, but just keep making more. One of these days. lol

I probably won't be sewing until later tonight after church. I love scrappy quilts and yours is looking great! Sometimes when I don't feel like sewing, I cut up my scraps into squares of different sizes. It doesn't look like I've made a dent in them yet. haha I think they "reproduce" after you cut into them. They must be aliens!

I am finding that doing rows for the postage stamp is so much easier than making 4 patch and then growing them to 6 patch....etc...I like the mindless sewing...no thought besides not having two of the same fabrics touch. So far so good.

It's looking so pretty! Hope to get to scrap busting one of these days. Seems that once I get a quilt done there are two more to do
