Also, please urge them to look for an organization called Compassionate Friends. It is an organization that is a support group for parents that have lost a child. They were such a help to me. It is not an easy thing to go thru. Especially when they are so young. So sorry for their loss.

Your thoughts of comfort with a quilt wrap is wonderful. So much pain in such a loss. Thoughts and prayers to all.

That is just a wonderful comfort quilt. The loss of a child, no matter the age, is horrendous. There is no word in the English language for that parent. There are orphans, widows, widowers, but having a child die is too awful to even have a word for it. Prayers to the whole family for comfort and understanding from others.

The poem that Mary123 has is a great comfort. The quilt is a gesture made with love and prayers. Hugs to all of you.

This story just breaks my heart but so happy for them having donated his organs so others may live. This quilt is going to help comfort them. Prayers for their comfort from the Gulf.

Bless your heart for Blessing your niece and family. Like others have said, when a quilt is being made quite often every piece and stitch that binds them together is bound with the love of the quilter for the recipient. This quilt examples that.

I think it's a lovely gesture and will be appreciated - something to hold for comfort. So sorry for their loss.

So sorry to hear of their loss, we aren't supposed to outlive our children. Your gift will be a great comfort and reminder of your love
