Last October, I lost my friend of 42 years. She had dozens and dozens of handkerchiefs. Some white, some very colorful, many different sizes. I want to do something with them, but they are so fragile, I'm stumped. I've thought of sachet pillows, baby quilts, wall hangings, but nothing seems appropriate except for the sachet pillows. Any good ideas, I would love you hear your ideas. Virginia

Virginia, There are several really great quilt patterns using handkerchiefs. One of the patterns uses the handkerchiefs folded to make butterflies and stitched down to make the blocks. If you are interested PM me and I will find the book with the patterns in it.

So sorry for the loss of your friend.
