I'm planning to make some of the grab balls to match some quilts I'm making. Thought that would make a cute combination with matching fabric.

I made some matching balls to several of the baby quilts for my great grandkids. I am going to try putting squeakers inside future ones. Just ordered some on the internet. The rattles are fun but thought squeakers would be fun too.

squeakers sounds like fun. Can you share the site that you ordered them off of?

I am not so sure how these squeakers will work in the balls but plan to make some chew toys for dogs and will try at the same time in some balls for either dogs or kids. the web site is sitstay.com. I think they will work in the smaller balls the kids.

What a great idea to match the quilt! You can buy the squeakers at pet shops, too. I buy them to replace the ones in my Pug's toys after they 'kill' them! What did you use for 'rattles'? I have used small pill bottles with a few grains of rice. Sewin' Sam

I have been using two bottle caps from water bottles and putting some small buttons or plastic beads inbetween then fastening them together with masking tape.
