I am making one now...I try to clean out my scraps every January. I swear they multiply! I have 5 tops ready for donation..all scraps.

How did you ever get the idea for a checkerboard? It is a great touch and makes your scrappy outstanding and different. There is a place for computerized quilting and this looks perfect for your quilt.

Love your quilt! I, too, have a scrappy rectangle quilt on my to-do list. Each time a new piece of fabric comes into my house, I cut my small rectangle from it. I now have over 2,500 rectangles cut and waiting.

I love the checked border. It really pulls everything together. Great choice!
