I was not planing on finishing this quilt before I could go shopping again, but I found that a great fleece panel I bought was just about right for it.

I know someone will enjoy snuggling under this. I'll deliver it to a local charity in a few days.

    Thank you.

I like both sides too. I wish I could have bought 10 of this back, but it was the last one (and on sale!!!)

LOVE the blue and the bright scrappy star! I love using up my crumbs, I may have to do something like this sometime (far, far in the future though, I've got so many UFO's and "promised" projects lined up ahead of me).

Mine is about 50x70. The size, of course, is based on the size of the scrappy blocks I made. I'll bet your scraps will wait for you to get to them.

Thank you. The joy is that it will work with any nice square panel (or one you can add to to make it square.)

Thank you, QM, for guiding me to this site. I'm in awe of the scrappy side...... I keep saving those smaller pieces for something like this. But I will probably use fusible fleece for sewing that many pieces together, just to keep them in place (I have arthritis, and add that to my electronically challenged part of me, its a miracle I get anything done) :>)

The bears were quite a find! Happy Quilting! Sierra

Fortunately, the scrappy (AKA Crumb) effect is very easy to achieve. I think I did a tut on it. I don't know about you, but after 10+ years of energetic quiting, I have lots of scraps. I really need to use them or toss them.

Are your "Northern California mountains" anywhere near Auburn. You are my type of quilter and I wouldn't mind meeting you. Sierra

Nope. Auburn is a lovely place, but we are west of the central valley, due went of Redding, about 60 miles as the crow flies. We are in the foothills of the Trinity Alps, a place we love.
