I love this! Great choice of colors -- scraps, I know, but your placement of them is just right! Offset by the white/cream -- you've created a beautiful quilt!

JenniePenny, I am surprised to hear the pattern is in a magazine. I didn't get books back in 09. I started getting some in 11. I am sure I looked the block up on a free site then added my sash with leftovers and used left over HST for the boarders. I would love to see my quilt in a book. I guess no quilt is original.

It may have been re-published as a free block. Makes sense given the timelines.
Here is the professional picture of the original quilt. I was instantly smitten with it and I had to make it. I was challenged with the project when I made it. It's impressive you ended up making two!

Love the looks of your quilt. I read that you didn't remember the magazine you found it in, but is scrappy happy the name or is that just what you call it?
