Surprisingly I did not! I was expecting I would, however; it was not really any harder to work with than cotton. I made sure I basted really well. I used spray adhesive and pinned, (probably overboard). I didn't quilt in the ditch, I quilted about a 1/4 inch on the side and as I got to the end I held the fabric to be sure it didn't shift. I'm trying to use up fabrics given to me that I would not traditionally use so I thought, "its a scrap quilt I can afford to try this material." It does make a warm quilt too, especially since I also used batting.

Thank you so much for your comments. Everyone is so nice here! I do not mind, never would, you using it for reference. The two things I kept the same were the middle block fabric and the light shade I used in every square. I thought this would be way too busy if I attempted to have everything different.

A very well planned scrappy, indeed. Love it -- and I am not usually a fan of scrappy.
