Ab-sew-lutely magnifico!!! SEW reminiscent of "yesterdays quilts"!!! The quilts of "today are lovely" BUT they do not tell "a story" as the "scrap quilts". I LUV this one.....I can just imagine the hours it would take to sit and go over the story of each fabric included. Surely would keep one busy for a time.

Thank You for keeping this tradition "alive"!

I love your quilt. One of my 1st was a LC using scraps of blues, mauves etc.Was glad to see the last of those colors.:-) I never pre wash either, but also use dye magnets, been lucky so far, but they're worth the cost.

Both dye catchers came out RED!! and yet, look at the white on that quilt. Still white. Am I lucky or what! (No, I don't prewash my fabric! No patience for washing, drying and ironing before I can cut and sew!)
So, if you have a quilt with fabric that might fade, I really do recommend using the dye magnets! Oh, yes!!

Absolutely wonderful. Very clever having the strap basket. I have started cutting some of my left overs into strips. Now i know why i must do it. I can imagine the time you have saved by having the strips already cut.

    Lovely, thanks for sharing.

Cannot wait to see the stamp quilt next.

If this is what you make from trash then you are a treasure.

So inspirational to make a nice quilt out of scraps. Have been working on many scrap quilts, too. Funny how we can make something nice out of something others would throw away:)

    Yvonne,
Did you care when you picked the trip from the box? I have an assortment of scraps that go anywere from batiks to kid's prints. Would it matter or once sewn you only see color?
