I quilted it myself. I always quilt large quilts in sections - this one was done in 3 sections. I stitched all the ditches, then decided that on this quilt that was enough. The logs are only 1" finished, so after SID the quilting lines were only 1" apart. Usually I do some free motion too, but I could not get in the mood to do it this time, especially with the hot weather we're having in Oregon.

Lights are always a problem for me too. This time a friend who does a lot of hand applique on light backgrounds had given me a bunch of strips that she had cut from the sides of her quilts. That really helped. And I mixed in some of the lighter mediums.

I think it is beautiful. I have so many scraps and many are already cut...might have to try this!

FAntastic. You certainly have more patience than I. I often resort to enlarging block patterns just to cut down on my cutting and piecing.

What a stunning quilt...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quilt on the back is wonderful too. I love that it is truely scrappy, you did a ton of organizing for that one and it looks so beautiful. Oh my I would be so proud of that work of art! Well done! Bravo!
