Finally made it to the (current) end of this thread and have greatly enjoyed this wonderful quilt show. Thought I'd add a few more that I made last year.
This first one is a top I donated as part of the effort to have 300 quilts ready for the opening of the new VA Hospital in Henderson, NV. When a vet leaves the hospital he or she will be able to take a quilt home with them.

"Squeak"
This is a quilt I made from my Civil War reproduction scraps. Its name around here is "Squeak" because when I was about 3/4 done with it I decided to add a row to make it bigger and started running out of the blue fabric I used in the setting triangles. I had to piece several of them in order to have enough.

I made this quilt during a time of great financial hardship -- couldn't pay my rent, had to go to the food bank in order to eat, obviously had NO money for fabric. At all. I ended up swapping fabric with several online quilting friends so I'd have enough solids. I called it "Busy Signal on the Information Superhighway" and it's still one of my favorites.

Wedding Quilt Back
My final pic of the day is actually the back of my son's wedding quilt. The front was Judy Martin's "Shakespeare in the Park" done in the colors requested by the bride, burgundy and gold. I was only able to use 3 or 4 different fabrics and was bored with it before I had the fabric cut out.
So I decided to make the quilt I wanted to make for the back -- lots of colors. You can guess what happened -- everyone who sees the quilts looks at the front, turns it over and looks at the back, and decides they like the back the best!!
