Made a quilt for a dear friend...he had mentioned remembering the feel of one while growing up. His favorite color is royal blue. That color and the muslin for the friendship stars and backing plus the batting was the only expense. All in all, about $65.oo for a king quilt and two king shams. He was OVERJOYED - fair pay.

Love the quilt. Did you use muslin for piecing the front of the quilt?

WOW!!! I keep getting more ideas from this board. I love your quilt. I have many star blocks already made up and I know now what I am going to do with them. All I need is another fifty years to complete all the ideas I am collecting. It will at least be fun trying. Thanks for sharing. Eileen
