Wonderful job on the quilts. Both are beautiful. What a great idea to do a log cabin rag-style....Love it.

Love em both and I really love the idea of two sided quilts. you did a wonderful job on these, and matching your colors are perfrct.

I never thought about doing a rag quilt with a pieced block, this may be my next project. It gets so expensive to send everything to the quilters, that way I could finish it myself, thanks for the idea

I had never thought about doing regular blocks as raggy either until this one. If I had thought about doing it raggy earlier I would have made to outside logs larger so I would have had enough size to make the 1/2 in. seam and not cut down on the width of the last logs.
Once I decided to do it raggy, I wanted to do some free motion quilting on the blocks unsteady of the usual X, that way I could practice.

I'll probably do more quilts this way. Will show them if I do.
