[quote=frugalfabrics]Ok, I tried a different color sashing (little lighter)...not sure about this one either.

Maybe I'll just put it together without the sashing...no time to get it done today, so it will have to wait until next weekend.

I appreciate all the comments and opinions..feel free to let me know what you think of this color or is no sashing would be better.

...well my camera is acting up!...I'll post it later then I get back home..I'm heading out the door right now.[/quot

OK, here are my 3 options - light sashing, dark sashing, no sashing...

Quote: I really like your blocks. What is the name of the pattern that you used???? I to think you should use a different color sashing rather than the maroon.

There's a lot of lavender in the blocks, have you thought of using a deep purple or a dark green

I still like the dark maroon! What ever you decide will be lovely!

Yes, I agree. But my mother selected the colors, and made some blocks and then gave me the strips to finish the blocks up and make it into a quilt. That's why I was contemplating putting the sashing inbetween becuase the blocks don't have a lot of contrast to me...I'm not seeing a nice pattern when they are all mashed together...
