I really like the way that turned out. For not doing scrappy well, you sure did a terrific job on it.

I love your scrapy look and the colors work very well together. I tried a 9 patch no Peek ,scraps from a paper bag. It did not work for me either.

I struggled on only to miss a final sash on the corner which caused me to cut the seting corner wrong. Of course, no extra fabric! At that point I set it aside (kind of threw it) for about 2 weeks. I finally buckled down and made the required repairs. It is certainly not perfect but I still think it's a pretty pattern. This is actually a queen size but I have it laid out on a twin bed.
I LOVE THIS PATTERN.....can you tell us where you found it, what it is called, etc.? I think you have done a wonderful job. Your color selections, and the way you have these put together is just GREAT!

It's from Celebrate The Seasons With Quilts. I altered a bit since the original pattern had a stem at the bottem of each square rather than the point I did.

Thanks for the kind words. It's from Celebrate The Seasons With Quilts. I altered a bit since the original pattern had a stem at the bottem of each square rather than the point I did.

Very pretty...that is the way I like scrappy quilts, with one or two fabrics that break up the scraps. Great job.
