    It's from Celebrate The Seasons With Quilts. I altered a bit since the original pattern had a stem at the bottem of each square rather than the point I did. Started with 2 1/2 inch squares and they were all from my left overs and stash fabric. I purchased the background and sashing fabric.

    Error....i heard that the amish intentionally include a mistake (odd color) etc... to show that only God is perfect and that we are imperfect......interesting thought

    I understand what you mean, I also have a problem with scrappy. I've set a Rail Fence aside because I haven't "planned" it out yet :-o

    It's very pretty. I love the colors. You did a great job on it. Oh, and I've been where you are! I've tossed plenty of quilts aside ni frustration!

    It's beautiful! It can be hard to do random - I do more of a controlled random. I sort by color and go random from there, putting back only if I get a duplicate or too similar.
