Now that's my kind of quilt! I too make quilts from little pieces. It takes a while to sew these blocks and yes "It's not a placemat"! This is a picture of one I donated to the local hospital auction with only a third of the blocks you have made. Making this size is really appreciated as a donation quilt and people will spend $ on it over a table mat or wall hanging the same size but from larger pieces. It appeals to quilters who do not work with this size. This one earned $110.

Kudos to you and your sunny quilt!

Wow oksewglad, that is beautiful. I think I am hooked on them now. It's so nice to complete a project without having to run to the LQS for a back or batting. Fabric goes a long long way.

How did you quilt this?

Thanks and congratulations on being hooked! I just finished the center of a simple rail fence using 1" scraps that I'm making for a holiday gift exchange. Keep at it and look forward to seeing some more of your beauties.
