Good for you, rather have the scraps beautifully arranged on the bed in a quilt than stuffed away somewhere in a box.

Well worth the wait, it is a beautiful quilt and your daughter looks like she agrees.

It took me three years to finish my hubby's king sized Dolly Madison Star quilt, so I think you did good! Very pretty quilt. I love the scrappies!

No you aren't. I have one that I've worked at off and on for over 10 years. I should really get it out, finish the quilting by machine and get it done.

Very nice. Love the colors. And yes I've been known to take years to finish a quilt. My problem is I have too many started. Once I have the top done I'm on to another one. I need to stop that and get some quilted.

Your quilt is beautiful, and YES! I join the ranks of the slow quilters- My granddaughter is 1 1/2 now, and I'm trying to finish her baby quilt that I started before she was born (true confessions here!) I get stuck on something or get sidetracked, then have trouble getting "a round tuit" I suspect I have ADD :) I am going to finish it and 2 others soon- I've vowed not to do anything new til they're done!

Hey you are not alone! I have several other small quilts with the tops finished and stashed away somewhere. Somehow when I get to the basting and quilting portion, I get so freaked out by the process, I decide to start on a new project! That explains why it took me 3 years to get my daughter's quilt done.
