What a great idea for you! It wouldn't work for me though, my three furkids would sit outside it and howl till I opened it for them!! I used to have one who climbed right up the screen if I didn't let her in fast enough. Had to go outside and unhook her alla time. I'd give anything to unhook her just once more ...

Great idea. We all need a little alone time. Do you have a suggestion for 36 & 33 yr. old sons? They both live in the same community and always pop in to eat!!

I have a friend that has one between her living room and dinning room. works for them. I see nothing wrong with it, may use the same idea when we move and get two dogs to go with the two cats we have now.

Good idea we are considering putting one on my Grandsons bedroom door since he is upstairs and even with a gate on the stairs it would be extra security.

My mom and dad have a screen door at the bottom of their stairs. It keeps the kiddies where they should be and helps with equalizing heat between upstairs and downstairs in the winter time.
