Yes it is, the knots were foundation pieced with fabric scraps in sections and then joined together and fused into place onto the background and machine appliqued in place.

Oh Lynnie, this is a beautiful work of art. I never thought of saving the non-word part of selvedges. (I only save the word part.) After seeing your creation, I might have to rethink that.
