Beautiful quilt. Doesn't it feel great to get it done? I have a couple around here that have been blocks for 5 or 6 or maybe 7 years that I need to put together.

Hope you enjoy Florida. My DH served in the Navy for 20 years so have experienced the moving around alot.

You'll like Niceville. Not far from me. I think you'll be at Eglin AFB, right? We got put up there after Hurricane Ivan.

Niceville is very pretty and Destin has tons of great beaches and shopping. There is a quilt shop in Destin called the Cotton Loft, although I haven't made it there yet. There are listings for some in Ft. Walton Beach too.

Welcome to Florida!

How pretty! I bet you are happy that after all this time it is finished at last. I hope you put it into a box where you can find it immediately when you get to your new home. That will be a welcoming site to see for you.

I hope you love your new home and that all your dreams come true there.

Enjoy your new home, my brother is the Minister of Music at First Baptist of Destin. The church also has a good school. Destin has some of the prettiest white beaches and aqua colored water. The quilt is a wonderful piece of accomplishment...
