What a great granddaughter you have to want to sew with you again. She is precious & her quilt for Carl will be loved by him as he sleeps soundly on it. She did fantastic in picking out her fabrics for his quilt. Bet you can't wait for her to come over again!

Way to go, grandma! I bet you can't wait for her to come back.

On a side note, you made me think of my mom today. She used to keep her pins in the sucrets tin, which I have, along with her sewing machine.

Very cute Granddaughter and cute quilt she made for her doggie. She did a great job. I have two Granddaughters 25 and 32 years old, neither one have a desire to sew or quilt.

What a joy! I had such a great time making little quilts with my grandkids last year! I’m not sure who was more thrilled!

You are so lucky. I hope my granddaughter says that to me some day.

A suggestion. Her next couple blocks (or just pieces) put them together as a tote bag. When she uses it and her friends gush over it, her confidence and desire to keep learning will explode. BTW - she did a great job!!!!!!
