Great job! I love it when items are recycled like you did with your two armoires. Your main work space with your sewing machines and wonderful ironing board look like the ideal setup. Enjoy!

I like the idea of re-using what you can! Lovely.

I repurposed/reused everything I could think of - left over paint from another project covered the walls, 2 armoires from our bedroom became storage units, my grandfather's old dresser became the cutting board and more storage, an old bulletin board turned into a design board - I even grabbed a rug from our back door entrance and put on the floor! The crowning jewel in this little space is the ironing board my dad built me - 18" x 60" which I covered with a large fabric remmnent and pieces of batting. Great job, great sewing room.........necessity is the mother of invention !

Hey Sue - heehee - we have a 29 ft Outback trailer and in a moment of madness I did suggest to my husband that I move my sewing room out there - needless to say, the answer was NO!!! Rats - could have had a kitchen with munchies and my own bathroom.... :-P
That would have been so cool! You could even take it with you on trips!!!

Very nice! Would love to have my own sewing room. Right now my sewing machine is on a desk in the dining room. Not ideal but it works for me. Enjoy your space!
