This is a coil basket and a Fast Star quilt. Fast Stars are often used by Native American plains Indians for give-a-ways.

The Fast Star is gorgeous in those colors and the basket is very nice too.

The name of the book is Montana Star Quilts, Author Linda Parker alias gradma58 on your quilting board.
The Pattern is the "Fast Star'

My goal for today is to get my book listed on here for you all as well as the other patterns I still have available. I have contacted the person who did the design work for my long ago out of print patterns to see how to go about getting them in an email format. I know it is possible!

Both are beautiful and nothing "fast" about doing either. Very good work!
