Make four of these and then put a stopper on one end of each of them. Slide these on each leg of your table...now the table will be high enough so your not having to bend over when you're cutting. Oh, and Glory is adorable!
I sit when I cut. I do have the PVC extensions and tried the standing but my back and hips don't like the standing. I've become accustomed to the sitting and do a pretty good job with the cutting.
That makes sense, we all do what we have to do to be able to do the thing that makes us happy. Happy sewing.

Great room. Love the bookcase. Looks like you're a do-er, not a dream-er. Your space is so functional looking. Love it!!

Looks like you have a great little helper too. Your avatar is adorable. Is it Miami, FL? I was born in Coral Gables and grew up in Hialeah.

Your sewing rm looks terrific :

Mine is organized but messy at the same time because I have so many projects going for me. I have 3 banquet tables to lay the quilt on, 2 banquet tables the long was for 2 machines (grand-kids), magazine spinner w/bks & pattern, hubby made me a lrg over head shelf for batting's I would be tooooooooooooo
embarrassed to show you all.

My quilt shop as the family calls it is in the basement taking up
2/3 rds of it. DH calls his the "MAN CAVE" :)

Mine is messy now, well the cutting table is. Sometimes there's not room to cut. Your room sounds a lot bigger than mine. I love my room though, it's just right for me.
