    Shattered

This is another quilt I made several years ago and went to a friend. It is lap size; hand pieced and hand quilted. I enjoyed the piecing but I started thinking about hand quilting through all those seams. I started to realize that maybe I don't want to hand quilt some things. This quilting has been a learning process - slowly but surely.

At first the photo looked navy and red but I like the red and black better. Very stunning quilt.

I think you came up with the perfect name for this quilt. The black and white fabrics gives it an appearance of shattered glass to me. You did a wonderful job. I'm sure your friend loved it.
