I love the fabrics you used for this! Your quilting is perfectly complimentary, too. This pattern is on my list.

I can’t believe you appliquéd all those red circles! Impressive! Very nice quilt! Nice colors, fabrics, pattern and quilting.

The pattern was for a quilt with no border, but I thought mine looked dull that way. So while the quilt was in progress, I swapped the off-white background for a blue background in a half block all around to self-border. I planned to do a simple grid quilting, but the 11.5” blocks meant that would have looked a bit wonky, so I went with what Jacquie Gering calls “point to point orange peel” quilting. I added the red circles and red binding because it felt like it still needed something. I used the circles as as an excuse to buy Applipop metal templates. My next project will be Buds in a Basket, which requires 6 circles appliqués per block.

This is one scattered quilt and I adore it! It is amazing the great patterns from MSQC and Jenny Doan. This one is a keeper. You have done a beautiful job on this quilt. Your quilting is amazing. Thanks for sharing this wonderful quilt.

Great quilt and quilting. The applique circles add a wonderful pop of color. Well done!
