    I was intrigued by the title. A shotgun wedding in these parts would be hard to translate into a quilt. Love the quilting and the colors and the piecing. Very pretty.

    I know Amelia! I could too. And Tessagin, it looked like those comic book blasts to me too. But translated into a really neat pieced design. My uncle collects guns, so I knew he would love this.

    The name of the quilt does crack me up, and you are right Quilter 65, who would think you could translate that into a quilt? But she did! I discovered Lynda Hall on Pinterest. She has her own board there called "Primitive Pieces by Lynda Quilts". She is quite a talented designer, plus a lot of the names she comes up with for her patterns bring a smile to my face.
