What do you think about that, Mad? I think that's all she needs.
I don't go out much - particularly where there are bear tracks, so I don't know if all of those critters would leave their paws on the same path. However, I know that there are borders and gullies, and trenches which are straight-lined. So yes, a few straight lines may be all that's required. From the closeup, it looks a little "floppy" and needs a little more IMO.

It's very nice!! If you think more quilting is necessary then you probably won't be at peace until you do it!!! Did you hand quilt or machine quilt?? I think that leaves are an excellent suggestion..

I really like your quilt. It is calming and comforting for me. I think a leaf meander or leaf pattern would be great in the green border and you will be much happier.
ps I think your pictures are great.

Thanks Lynn, this quilt is rather difficult for me, woodsy is not my style. But it will go perfectly in the log cabin, and the bed frame is made from tree branches... I will post a pic of the end result...

Anne, I hand quilted it. And you guys offer some great ideas. I like the leaf idea, I'll do some templates tonight.

I really like that quilt. Great manly quilt. If you feel it needs more quilting just do it. You won't be happy if you leave it as is.
