I laid out the blocks without any sashing so you could see what it would look like as is. What do you think Now?

I'm not a fan of the colors but it will be a very striking quilt when finished. I say finish it!

Ooops!
I made a mistake. It isn't Marti Michell templates I have. They are ARDCO templates. Still plan to make them some day.

I like the all black background. If you want the sunflowers a little further apart, try doing sashing in the same fabric as the background. Those golden flowers will really pop.

The colors never do turn out right for me in my pictures. The background sure looks black from here but it is actually hunter green. Thanks for all the comments. I will keep sewing till I get er done. I appreciate all the good feedback you've all given. It always helps me to hear what others think and how something HITS them. You know what I mean. The first thing you think when you see something.

I love it and colors are good to show off the flower. All I can say is WOW, that is going to make a stuning quilt.

I like it. It looks like a sunflower to me and would make a lovely fall lap quilt or wall hanging.
