Beautiful....I admire your tenacity, silk is very difficult to work with.

I'm so glad you posted this! It's a stunning thing and a testament to your design ability - the 3D effect in the keyboard is beautiful! Tha orchids are beautiful too - I love the colour gradation in the fabrics, are they silks too? Looks kind of like they were hand painted.

The orchids are not silk but hand dyed fabrics. And lots of thread. I have only done 2 hangings with "thread painting" but I think its lots of fun. As soon as I get my UFO's done I will probably do more . My rule this year is .... No starting anything new until at least 1 UFO is done. I have done pretty well so far.

    The keyboard is wonderful.
I have always wanted to do a piano keyboard. I saw where you used a card tricks pattern, but for the life of me can't figure out how you did this - is there a specific pattern "Please" ?
    Thanks
    Karen

The Card Tricks pattern was k3n's and I am sure she just used a regular Card Tricks pattern.

I love your silk keyboard. Did you back the silk? I made a bowtie using 225 different silk ties with white silk inbetween. I back the silk with a fusible interfacing.
