I love your Panel quilt! There are so many great panels available these days that spark creativity. I wish people would get passed that negative term so many tend to use concerning panel quilts. I've spent 100 hours and hundreds of dollars making a fabulous quilt that started with a panel-- there wasn't a single moment of ( cheating) involved.

Nothing cheating about using a panel! (let' face it---sometimes using a panel can be a lot of work!) I really like this panel and have it-debating whether to use for youngest g-son as a "grandma's house quilt" or hold in hopes DD has pregnancy news for us in next 6 months.

I've called them efficiency quilts for ages for that very reason. Really dislike calling any work I might do as "cheating".

Yes Jan, I think that way too. After all even with a panel as this which is so pretty, it still has to be put together as any quilt.

It is a very nice quilt. Cheater cloth is OK.

Really nice quilt from an especially nice panel. Why not use them whole? They offer a means of adding lots of color and interest to a quilt that would take a very long time to duplicate if you appliqued them. Love that panel.

I agree with Lady Elisabeth. It's the love that makes it special.
