Very nice and colorful! I quilt primarily for charity and usually do SITD as well. I am beginning to do add'l straight line quilting as well (especially since I just can't get the hang of FMQ right now). Be proud of what you've accomplished and don't worry about what others may (or may not) say. Your heart is in the right place.

Does the quilt have a pattern name? I like it and it would be an easy one to use up scraps. My sister in law makes lots of quilts to donate and I think she would like this pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful quilt for a wonderful cause. I, too, prefer to hand in completed quilts.

Well, it is basically the Double Slice Layer cake from Missouri Star. The only difference is that I didn't buy a layer cake. I just used fabric I already had, five fabrics to be exact. I cut 8 ten inch squares of the focus fabric and 3 ten inch squares of four other fabrics. That made a youth sized quilt, after I added borders ( 44 x 45). Of course, the ten inch squares are cut down, so it sure would work well for scraps. Let me see if I can find the video...

I like the colors a lot, they sure scream spring. You did a nice job on the design and piecing too. Kudos.
