Good for you, finishing another UFO which is quite beautiful in it's purple glory!

sorry you had a terrible time with the construction. This quilt came out very nice, and is something to be proud of.I love it.

The quilt looks great! I'm working on a Simply Woven for my DGD and I'm at the point I hate it. I'm with you - made mistakes piecing, felt awkward making it.

It can be really tricky. I have made one out of neckties. I made paper templates of what it should look like each step that helped considerably. Your quilt turned out great!

I think it looks wonderful Debra, love the colors! I made just one block from this pattern for a pillow cover front, it turned out fine but didn't care for the process too much.

Sewbizgirl, yours looks like a plaid.

Well, maybe I should reconsider making one of these from all the comments. But I really love it. I guess I could do like geevee and make just one block to see how it goes first.
DebraK, if you ever don't want yours anymore I can send you my mailing address.

Debra, congrats on the finish of your UFO. I can only imagine from looking at your quilt that it was quite a challenging project. What a nice feeling to have it finished...

Beautiful quilt and such a perfect border fabric! I understand about some blocks being difficult. I have had a couple that I had to pin bits of papers marked with letters, numbers, arrows, etc. in order to get together. I admire your stick-to-it attitude. Paid of beautifully. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing your journey with this one.
