Looks like it is in great condition. It looks like a Singer Model 99. (I may be wrong) The value always depends on whether you are buying the machine or selling the machine. Where you are located, (I am in the South East) has a lot to do with the value. I have seen them for $150 in antique shops, $50 on E-Bay (plus shipping), $25 on Craigs List and $15 at a yard sale or thrift shop. It is a beautiful machine.

I think I would have gotten it. I love the case almost as much as the machine. I'm a vintage machine junkie :)
