Please thank your grandsson for serving our country so the rest of us can enjoy our freedoms. SIS doesnt know what she missed,you quilt is lovely and I am a fisherperson too. pab

What a fantastic quilt. I agree with the person who said it was such a loss on her part. To me, there is no greater gift to receive than something hand made with you in mind.
Your grandson is going to love this treasure. :D

Do you know, some people don't appreciate quality (or as my kids call it, quilaty!) Giving your quilt to someone who will appreciate it is just as much an art as making the thing in the first place. I would be very honoured to be given such a beautiful piece.

If she's lucky to get that much. When someone is unappreciative of something I put my heart and soul into they won’t be getting anything from me again. When someone gives me a gift I see it as a piece of their heart. It is special no matter what it is.
