Found some today at Craft Warehouse! It would be cheaper elsewhere I am sure but I have looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Wal Mart, Fred Meyer and 2 small hardware stores and never found cotton. I am just happy to have found some!

You can also make them from cotton cording - sold at Joann's for use in upholstery - makes the little rounded edge you see on sofa cushions. I've used my 40 percent off coupon and bought a whole box of it for these bowls.

Our quilt show will be in Leesville, Louisiana. Might be a little far for you to come but we would love to have you. It will be in May of 2013.

Your bowls are beautiful and they are fun to make. I think these will be a great seller. I am actually thinking of making a few for craft show I am in this December. What did you use as the cording around the bowl?
