    Default Small finish - Sunflower

Well it didn't turn out like I wanted it to. It was a long day of ripping out stitches because my machine wouldn't stitch details onto the flower without skipping, so after making a zillion tiny holes, I gave up and just FMQ around the flower.

    Thanks for looking :-)

Cute sunflower. The problem might be if you used interfacing under the sunflower and needed a larger needle?

It's a lovely sunflower but it sounds like your machine needs some tune up, maybe tension issues.

It has heat n bond underneath and that is what caused the issue. The paper said I could sew on it, but apparently not FMQ. It does all other sewing and FMQ just fine when there is no heat n bond underneath.

    Thanks

Looks great to me. I'd guess that it turned out just the way you intended. Funny thing, I'm also working on a sunflower quilt today but mine isn't applique. Guess it's a sunflower day.
