Thread: small landscape wall quilt

    this is from a picture I took in the Ouchita mountains, my only try at landscape quilting.with raw edges( i don't really like the rew edges but some of you have give me some great ideas.I'm not a great photographer.

    That is awesome and you did without a pattern, just your own photograph...that is impressive. great job.

    I think your quilt is beautiful. Great job. I agree with you generally about raw edge, but sometimes it does the job beautifully.

    yes, I have painted with oils,tried water colors , could not get the hang of it, so I gave it up.
    I also did this scene in oils, it was a lot of fun
