Small quilt for Black and White Challenge

Our quilt guild had a challenge to make a small quilt using only black and white fabric plus one crayon color which we drew from a paper bag. My color was lavender and this was my entry. I really enjoyed doing this. I got the idea from a picture of a loon in a book and used fusable webbing to apply the different fabrics to the loon. This was a challenge I really enjoyed doing, but I didn't win. It was fun!Name: IMG_2862.JPG

What a nice little quilt! You certainly got the loon right, and your MQ in the border is great.

Your quilt is lovely. You did a great job and I like the loon. I have no imagination when it comes to a challenge in my quilting group so never participate. Well, maybe some day I will try.

You did a very nice job. I love the way you added the lavender even to the flower in the water. The quilting is beautiful also.

Your quilt is beautiful, I like the way you put the little buttons on the border. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it is playing the game that counts. I really like it.
