You mention Hancock. I went on Hancock Fabrics and was wondering what I would ask for. What is the pattern's name? Did I go to the correct website? Thanks for your help.

I made one of these several years ago. Wasn't it fun. I use mine as a wall hanging.

Where can I get the pattern? What are the dimensions of the flag? I saw a pattern on ebay.

The pattern says it comes out 25 x 21, but mine is a bit longer as I didn't make the really narrow strips quite that narrow. It's available at http://www.beckyandme.com/Let-it-Wave.htm

That you "sewgood". I like that name the one member gave you. I ordered the pattern and should receive it in a week. You mentioned that you made the stripes wider, how wide.
Thanks for your help.............Barbara

There is one strip that is supposed to be 1", which would end up being only 1/2 inch after it's sewn. I made mine 1.5.

Hint: Don't trim the strips to 20" like the pattern says to, just leave them long and then you will have plenty to play with.
