That apron is really cute--your brother is going to be "styling" at the grill!

and your snap bags are cute too.

Hi,

Wow, love the apron (was it easy to make, as I am a beginner and would love to know where I can get the pattern)

Also love the snap bags.

Great Job and thanks for sharing!

The snap bags are really interesting to make. They are fast to make, with the quilting taking the longest, though I don't imagine you'd have to quilt a small one. Here's a picture of one being put together.

Crafty bear..i had an apron i got at a thrift shop and used that as a pattern. my brother is a big guy, so i used WOF for across the chest. I used up 1 and 1/2 yards of fabric for the front and the same for the back. If you want the thrift store apron, i can send it to you. just PM me your address. there was no way i was going to buy a pattern, for a one shot deal.
if you go to
www.tipnut.com

I don't quite understand the measuring tape in the picture...is that actually closure? Can you give a brief description of how it goes together? The purses are sooooo cute!

The measuring tape is in the top, in the closure. I have "some" pictures of the process..not many. i was getting excited when it started coming together, and forgot to take more pictures!
