Quilting Treasures is coming out with a collection of fabrics based on the board game Scrabble.

Here are some pictures. Do any ideas come to mind as to how you might use these fabrics?

You could make a quilt that spells out the same of the fabric and then use the letters in no random order for a border.

You could make different ones for different seasons, Halloween, birthdays, Thanksgiving, etc.

Oh scrabble is our family's favorite game. I would love to make something with this. I'm not sure what though.

We have game nights on Friday..... Maybe some coasters, or a game table runner or something.

My 84 year old mother is a Scrabble lover! That fabric would be great for placemats, table runners, mug rugs, aprons, etc.

Not 100% sure how I would use it. Some type of simple patch quilt so that the fabric could be the spot light. I know I have a friend who loves scrabble and I am trying to come up with the perfect college graduation quilt. I think this fabric could fit the bill perfectly.

Just joined the board today..... I bought this fabric today and was trying to search to get some ideas. My first thought was to make the board and then deco page the letters to wooden craft tiles you can buy at any craft store.

Perhaps you could make a travel board.... Sew the board and the top box together to make a bag and use a bit of velcro for a closure. Hmmmm... Let me think some more on this venture.

I used some of the first fabric - the one with the letter tiles - to make two nine-patch blocks for my son's quilt that said STAR TREK. And then put a glow-in-the-dark star fabric in between them. 'Cause you know there is no Star Trek fabric.

And no, he's not a little boy. This will be his going-away-to-college gift. I wonder how long it will take him to find out about the glowing stars?

I cut mine into 3.5" squares, and that used up most of the blue borders, so I could not use every square. If you want to get the most use out of it, you should probably plan on squares that are a little less than 3", and the blue will all be gone into the seams, so you will be left with just the "wood" parts.
