Great chicken, but I agree, I have to give you a lot of cudos for all it took to do that.

Wow, how fun. I love chickens. Those are adorable. Is the chicken wire a print on the fabric or did you quilt it there???

Never seen this before - what a great chicken you've made.
I just looked at some examples of snippets work, and it is fascinating what people have done with it.
Will have to have a go at this!

These are so cute. :-D I was interested to read about the snippets technique - I did something similar on my 'Flying High' seagulll wallhanging but I cut the seagull shape from fusible wadding then ironed each tiny feather in place to hold temporarily while I FMQd the individual spines of each feather - your way seems more straightforward. I want to do a pheasant so maybe I'll try it. My way was a bit tricky as I had to adjust some of the feathers as I went with tweezers. Your feathers look like the edges ruffle up, which is the effect I wanted with my seagull and why I only FMQd the spine of each feather - did you achieve this by not ironing right to the edge? Strange that I just did this and had no idea I was using an existing 'technique' Nothing new under the sun, is there? :D

Those are really neat! I've never seen anything like them before.

Will you share a little about how they are made? Thanks!
