Very special. Did you hand embroider all the redwork?

Thankyou...Vanessa..I used to belong to a stitchery club..anyway, when we started this quilt, the teacher suggested we use 2 pieces of fabric for ea blk...the top piece for the pattern etc, but a second piece to hide the knots etc due to being red so they didn't show thru the white, off-white etc...which is what I did..I don't know if it makes a big difference, I'm only passing this info on so you are aware of what I did...I loved the diff fabrics also; I used diff shades of reds too...not just one shade of red...good luck..

Yes, I did hand embroider all the redwork...I traced each blk using a pencil, and then hand embroidered using various shades of red...thankyou again.
