I have batting and backing fabric, so next I'm reading up on basting. What technique do you like?

Also, I guess as far as quilting (another first!!), it will be SID, though that is where the most material/layers are!! Very bulky because my fabrics are all knits that have fusible interfacing and have been sewn to a muslin foundation. Any tips here??

Thanks to everyone who has helped and encouraged me so far!! The end is in sight!
Instead of doing SID, maybe stitch a 1/4" to the sides of the seams? Might be a little bit more work but you wouldn't have to deal with the bulk in the seams.

Your quilt is beautiful! I can't believe you had the nerve to try mitered borders your first time out! Well done!

Very cute quilt. When I have made foundation quilts, I've only used flannel as a batting since it is already pretty thick. This will make a nice weight quilt and will dry quickly when washed. You did a very nice job.

    Thanks so much everyone! :)

I think I may tie it. I'd like to quilt it but I would be sick if I messed up the top because of the quilting. I don't know...torn here.
