My favorite fabrics! Your quilt looks very authentic, as many of the old ones used a lot of that same shade of green as a background. Love your fabrics!

Love it! Is this feed sack reproduction materials? "A few years ago" I started freshman class in high school with 3 dresses I made from real feed sack material.. (we got them with different animal feed in them and we got 100 lb sacks of flour in beautiful prints.) Mom and I would pick out several of the same print so we could make dresses from them.. oh, 63 years ago..well seems like yesterday!

No these are not reproductions, they are the real ones! Aren't those wonderful memories. So sad to think our young people today have to have "Name Brand" or they are picked on so badly.

Were do you get the real ones? Yes!! memories are so good to have and each day that we have lived is one..
I have blocks made by the ladies (friendship blocks with all the friends in the neighborhood club) that my Mom had and gave to me years ago now (I have been afraid to put them together) but want to get them out and make a quilt for my bed. Each one was supposed to be made the same but ended up a little different.

Really nice. Hard to believe what feedsacks go for $$ now. I'm amazed.
